Elli AvrRam is back — and this time, she’s setting the screen on fire with a high-voltage dance performance in “Zaar Zaar”, the latest cinematic masterpiece by music duo Rusha and Blizza. With Neeti Mohan’s haunting vocals and an intense verse from rapper Farhan Khan, the track captures the raw emotion of “zaar zaar” — to weep uncontrollably — and spins it into a fierce, emotionally rich, and festive-ready dance anthem.
Sharing her excitement about the project, Elli spoke warmly of her longtime connection with choreographer-director Rahul Shetty, who helms the music video.
“It was so much fun shooting the song,” Elli said. “I’ve known Rahul for many years, from when he used to assist, and now he’s become something of his own. When he approached me for this hardcore dance number, I said of course, let me hear the song.”
One listen was all it took.
“I immediately loved it. The vibe was so cool, I just had to say yes. I knew Rahul would push me to do something I haven’t done before — and you can see, this kind of dance routine is new for me. I had to learn the dance and really feel the moves, because it required a very different kind of body language. I’m happy to return to hardcore dancing in a music video — and with a super cool hook step too!”
Zaar Zaar also marks Elli’s third collaboration with Neeti Mohan, a pairing she clearly cherishes. “Interestingly, a couple of months ago, I met Neeti at the airport. While chatting, she said, ‘Soon we’ll do our third song together,’ and now here we are with Zaar Zaar.”
Elli didn’t hold back her admiration for Neeti’s vocal versatility: “I must say, her voice changes in every song. She really plays with her voice, adapting it to fit the mood and requirement. That’s a huge talent.”
With Zaar Zaar already resonating with fans for its striking visuals, powerful emotion, and genre-bending style, Elli AvrRam's return to dance is more than just a comeback — it’s a bold evolution.
